Day 57 - Piper's

Today's attendees: Andrew, Matt, Sol, Reg, Brandon and Bret.

An old friend that we rarely visit. I was surprised that the staff there still remembered us even though we probably haven't been there in well over a year. We were pleased to note that prices seem to have remained mostly unchanged while the food was just good as we remembered it.

Mike was in an eatin mood and rocked a meatball sub AND a bread bowl of soup. Impressive. Sol wnet with the classic salad with chicken which held up to memory and Matthew was extremely pleased with the simple but delicious egg salad. Brandon came up short with his roast beef. Something to avoid there apparently.
Can't remember what Andrew and Bret got.
Cookies are a must at pipers, and an number of us enjoyed a fresh baked choco chip cookie before leaving.

I had the Piper's Pile Up
~ Roast beef, turkey, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, banana peppers, Dijon mustard, horseradish mayo, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes on a hoagie.

No food complaints from me. The homemade bench made from an old door sawed in half lengthwise and then folded at a 90 degree angle would be my only complaint.
